Silly Izzy!

Izzy is the silliest little thing ever sometimes! Lately she has been making up the most elaborate stories that make us laugh so hard! Last week she made up a story about my sister and her friend Emily, who she calls "Emai", and she said Dre and Emai should move to our house and live with us. She goes, "I will sleep at the top of my bed and Emai can sleep in the middle and DreDre can sleep in the drawer with my animals. Then when it rains we can all sleep in my bed". My poor sister only gets the bed if it rains, haha! Then, today Izzy made up a story about her KittyBear having a cold, and she needed "gum, shampoo, yogurt, and a Tinkerbell movie to make her feel better". I definitely think this is the most fun age so far because I love to hear all the new things she comes up with everyday!

P.S. My horseback riding class was great! I got over my fear of horses and I actually really enjoyed myself! Guess what the first thing Izzy said when her and Adam came to pick me up..."Did the horse bite you? I told him not to". Well, it did stomp on me once, but it didn't bite me, so I guess it was a good weekend!

BRENDASWHITE Review and Giveaway!

I am in love with things that are handcrafted out of pretty papers, so of course I absolutely love this week's review and giveaway from the Etsy shop Brendaswhite. Brenda collects ribbons, papers, fabric, beads, and other embellishments and makes many different desktop creations. She gains inspiration from cooking, calligraphy and scrapbooking, and her unique creations are so much fun! Brenda sent me a special set of cupcake toppers for my daughter's next birthday. We couldn't resist trying one out this week on our cupcakes since they are so cute! They are the ones you can see in the photo above, they are so perfect for a little girl! She also sent me some matchbook notepads that are the perfect size to keep in your purse for whenever you need to jot something down quickly. The magnet she sent me was also adorable, my daughter loves to use it to stick her pictures on the refrigerator! My favorite aspect of Brenda's creations is that they are so unique. They are handcrafted especially for the recipient, which is very cool!

Conquering a fear this weekend!

Ok, so I'm scared of horses. I have no idea why, but for some reason I'm scared of them. Tomorrow I leave for an overnight "Equestrian Experience" class, and I'm really nervous! I'm taking it for my PE credits for school, and I don't know why I didn't just take squaredancing or bowling! The whole not showering for 2 days, sleeping in a tent next to a barn, or being with complete strangers isn't even what I'm scared of! It's the horses. Someone told me that they sense fear and anxiety and let me tell you, they will sense some fear coming from me! I decided that I should conquer this fear this semester for this class, and I know that once I do I will be proud of myself, it's just going to be a rough 48 hours! I'm afraid that my horse will get spooked and buck me off. Or that it won't like how I brush it and will kick me or something. I know that this fear is not very rational, but it's something I'm excited to conquer! I will let you know how it goes!
